The address search bar in Birdi 2.0 allows users to quickly locate specific locations within the new map view. Positioned on the right side of the interface, this tool provides an easy way to navigate directly to an address, location or landmark.

How to Use the Address Search Bar

  1. Locate the Search Bar

    • The address search bar is positioned on the right-hand side of the map view in Birdi 2.0.

  1. Enter a Location

    • Click inside the search bar and type an address or place name

    • As you type, a list of suggested locations will appear.

  1. Select a Result

    • Click on the desired location from the suggestions to center the map on that point.

    • The map will automatically zoom to the selected area.

  1. Refining Your Search

    • If the first result isn’t accurate, try adjusting your query (e.g., including city or state names for specificity).

Additional Features

  • Auto-complete Suggestions: Get predictive text suggestions based on your input.

  • Quick Navigation: Jump between different locations without manually panning across the map.

Troubleshooting

  • If no results appear, check for typos or try using a different format (e.g., full address vs. just a street name).

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection, as search functionality requires data access.
