1. Why isn’t the new map view linked to the old view for existing data?
The new map view is built on a different framework to support advanced features and improved performance. Unfortunately, the old view's data structure is incompatible with the new view.

3. Will I still have access to my data in the old map view?
Yes, your data will remain accessible in the old map view. However, we recommend transitioning to the new view to take advantage of the updated features.

Currently, data migration from the old view to the new one is not supported. We are exploring ways to make this process possible in the future.

Under the Create button on the main dashboard there is an option to select Birdi 2.0 map. Access the new view through the dedicated tab in your dashboard. Check out this article to get started.
10. Will the old map view be discontinued?
We currently plan to maintain the old view for a transition period. Any plans to retire this view will be communicated well in advance.
