Chrome

Step 1: Open Chrome Web Store

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. In the address bar, type chrome://extensions/ and press Enter.

  3. Click on the Open Chrome Web Store link at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Search for a Translation Plugin

  1. In the Chrome Web Store’s search bar, type Translate or the name of a specific translation plugin (e.g., Google Translate or ImTranslator).

  2. Browse through the available options, focusing on highly rated plugins that fit your needs.

Step 3: Install the Extension

  1. Select the plugin you want and click Add to Chrome.

  2. A pop-up will appear asking for confirmation; click Add Extension.

  3. Once installed, the plugin icon will appear in the Chrome toolbar.

Step 4: Using the Translation Plugin

  1. Navigate to a webpage you want to translate.

  2. Click on the plugin icon in the toolbar, and it will either automatically translate the page or give you options to choose from.

  3. Tick the always translate button to save your settings for this webpage

  4. You will need to do this for all pages, Birdi's homepage, Birdi's Map view and Knowledge base

You will be able to view the Birdi Platform and Knowledge base in your chosen language

  2. In the top menu bar, click on Safari and select Safari Extensions. This will open the Safari Extension Gallery in the Mac App Store.
