To export your map and annotations for print (A3 or larger) you will need to download and use QGIS (It’s free) as you will want to ensure you have been able to adjust the settings for print (PNG at 300dpi).

Download and install QGIS
QGIS website: https://www.qgis.org/en/site/
Once you have QGIS installed you can follow the below steps to create a printable map:
Navigate to your Birdi map
Download your orthophoto
Go to Media > Tick the Orthophoto > Download as zip
Download you annotation
Go to Annotation > Click … > Download as a shapefile
Next open QGIS
Create a new project
Select ‘add data source’ in the top left
Select vector
Select … next to source
Add the zip file you downloaded for the annotation
Select add layers on the next popup
Select Raster
Select the …
Add the .tiff file that you downloaded (This is the orthophoto)
Select add
You will see the orthophoto appear behind the box
Close the popup box
In the layers tab click and drag the Orthophoto to sit under the annotation
Edit annotations
You can update to show the label of each annotation set
You can update the colour via the style selection if needed
Save your project
You will have a final output that looks similar to the below:
The final step is to export it for print
Select project
Select import / export
Select Export as PNG
Set your ratio, DPI and size
Select Save
This will export a PNG to your designated folder that you will be able to print.
