We understand that receiving unfamiliar charges can be upsetting. We’re here to guide you on what you can do if this happens.

Here are some common reasons why you may have received a charge:

  • Your free trial ended - Our basic and pro plans have a subscription payment per user, If you took this offer and didn’t cancel before it ended, we’ll charge you for the subscription.

  • You added someone to your team - When you invite users to join your team we charge for the active seats within your organisation. Birdi is designed to be collaborative and you can set permissions and roles for each user within your team.

  • You were charged earlier than you expected - Our payment system runs on the GMT timezone and payments are taken on the last day of the month.

  • A team member used your stored payment method - As an organisation owner, you can store a payment method for your team. Team members can use this payment method when purchasing additional processing.

  • Credit card authentication charge - Credit card authentication is the process of confirming the validity of your card with your issuing bank, this charge is normally $1 USD and it ensures that you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of the transaction. It is normally refunded within 48 hours.
