We’re making some updates to Birdi’s pricing and what’s included in each plan, effective July 1, 2025. Whether you’re just getting started or scaling up your geospatial workflows, these changes are designed to provide more clarity and better match the way you work.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s changing across the Free, Plus, and Growth plans.

(Note: there are no changes to our Ultimate plan, so it hasn’t been included in this article).

Free plan: A simplified way to get started

We’ve streamlined the Free plan to focus on the core features that help you explore how Birdi works. It’s designed for users who want to visualize maps, test out processing, and see if Birdi is the right fit—before committing to a paid plan.

  • Share up to 5 maps with anonymous viewers—no login required.

  • No limit on the number of images per map

  • No restrictions on output resolution

  • First 2GP of processing is free

  • Additional processing: $18 USD per GP (minimum spend $18 per job)

What’s not included:

  • TIFF cropping/clipping—this can still be achieved by processing with a KML bounding box

  • Tagging, annotating, or transforming TIFFs

  • Importing or exporting shapefiles

If you’re new to Birdi, the Free plan lets you trial processing, visualize your outputs, and explore map sharing with others—all with no commitment. But it's really designed to test out Birdi before moving to one of our paid plans, or for very light workflows.

➕ Plus plan: Built for solo professionals

The Plus plan is perfect for solo professionals starting out or building their workflows.

What’s included:

  • 🗺️ Unlimited map sharing with anonymous, view-only links

  • 💁 20 Guest seats

  • 🚀 Enhanced processing:

    • Monthly plan: 2GP per month

    • Annual plan: 48GP included per year

    • Additional processing: $9 USD per GP

  • 📂 Workspace access: 5 workspaces included

  • 📊 Exportable CSV data for reporting and analysis

  • 📸 No limits on images per map or output resolution

What to know:

  • TIFF crop/clip isn’t available—but just like the Free plan, this can be handled by uploading a KML boundary before processing.

  • TIFF transformations and shapefile import/export are not included.

  • You can’t visualize your own uploaded 3D files. To visualize in 3D, you’ll need to process your images with us.

A solid option for professionals who need reliable processing and export capabilities, without jumping to a larger plan.

📈 Growth plan: Built for scale and collaboration

Our Growth plan has evolved to give growing teams more power, more data, and more ways to collaborate—while staying flexible across the year.

What’s new and improved:

  • 🛠️ Expanded tools:

    • Upload, style, and export shapefiles, KML, GeoJSON, and DXF

    • Upload your own 3D models

    • Volumetric annotation tool

    • Raster styling for enhanced visual analysis

    • Exportable CSV data

  • 📍Basemap library access included

  • 🔗 Flexible sharing:

    • Share view-only links

    • Share downloadable data with anonymous users

  • 📂 Workspaces:

    • 5 included

    • Add on more with a per-workspace monthly cost

  • 🖼️ Processing power:

    • 240GP included annually (use flexibly throughout the year)

    • Additional processing add-ons

Plan details:

  • The Growth plan is now available annually only

  • Pricing: $3,440 USD/year (previously $1,440 USD)

A note on TIFFs:

  • Transforming and exporting TIFFs isn’t currently supported—but we’re always working to improve what’s possible with raster data.

Growth is ideal for teams that need deeper analysis, better collaboration, and more flexible processing options.
