How to access and use Table View for your 2D annotations

Details on how to open, search and and export annotation information from the table view.

Overview

The table view in Birdi provides a convenient way to view and manage annotations for individual layers or groups of layers.

Accessing table view

  • Single Annotation

  1. Select the desired layer in the Layer Panel.

  2. Click on the Table Icon to open the table view for that specific layer.

  • Group of Annotations

  1. Select the Group Folder containing the annotations in the Layer Panel.

  2. Click on the Table Icon in the Toolbox to open the table view for the group.

Features of the Table View

  • The table view will open along the bottom of the screen, displaying comprehensive information about annotations, as seen in the image below.

  • Searching for Layers or Attributes

    • Use the Search Bar within the table view to quickly locate specific layers or attribute values.

  • Exporting the Table

    • Click on the Three Dots menu in the table view to export the data as a CSV file.

    • The exported CSV file can be opened in Excel or other spreadsheet software for further analysis.

The table view is a powerful tool for managing and analyzing annotations. Ensure the appropriate layers or groups are selected to streamline your workflow.
