Contours enable you to assess your location’s elevation and topography (i.e. the forms and features of land surfaces), via graphical lines or contours on a map.
With Birdi we have two options for you:
1. Automatically generated a contour map from the DTM, visible on Birdi’s Map View.
When requesting processing you need to ensure you select DTM as an output.
The Birdi platform will automatically generate a contour file for visualisation.
Once you have received your processed outputs you will find the contour layer under the layers tab.
2. Request bespoke intervals to download and use in CAD applications.
When requesting processing you can request specific measurement lines that can be downloaded and used in other applications.
Once you have received your outputs you will be able to download the files from the media tab.
