There are a variety of drones available that are suitable for mapping that can be used with Birdi.

You will need a drone that is capable of capturing high-quality aerial imagery and video, as well as GPS data.

Some popular drone models that are commonly used with the Birdi platform include:

DJI Phantom 4 Pro: This is a high-end drone that is popular with professional photographers and videographers. It has a 20-megapixel camera and can capture 4K video at 60 frames per second.

DJI Mavic 2 / 3 Pro: This is another high-end drone that is popular with professional photographers and videographers. It has a Hasselblad camera and can capture 4K video at 60 frames per second. (DJI have discontinued the Mavic 2 and 3)

DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise: This is a high-end drone that is popular when mapping. It has a 4/3" CMOS Sensor, 20MP Mechanical Shutter and 56x Hybrid Zoom.

DJI Matrice 300: This is a rugged drone that is designed for industrial applications. It has a dual-camera setup that can capture both RGB and thermal imagery.

Parrot Anafi USA: This is a lightweight and portable drone that is designed for professional applications. It has a 4K camera and can capture high-quality aerial imagery.

SenseFly eBee X: This is a fixed-wing drone that is designed for surveying and mapping applications. It has a 21-megapixel camera and can capture both RGB and multispectral imagery. The eBee X also has a 90-minute flight time and can cover large areas quickly.

Autel Evo II: This is a versatile drone that is suitable for a variety of applications, including mapping. It has a 48-megapixel camera and can capture 8K video. The Evo II also has a 40-minute flight time and obstacle avoidance sensors.
