In this article you will learn how to upload existing geotiffs for visualisation in the Birdi platform.

Uploading Pre-Processed GeoTIFF maps

To upload your GeoTIFF’s in the platform you will need a mission with at least one objective. If you need help with this step you can follow this guide: Creating a mission with multiple objectives, Upload and visualise your drone data.

Tip: For pre-processed data it will not matter what objective type you have selected.

  1. Select the objective you want to upload to

  2. Follow the upload steps

  3. Our GeoTIFF server will need time to load the file (Depending on the size of the file this can take awhile)

  4. You will need to refresh the browser for it to display on the orthophoto tab and on the map

Recommended GeoTIFF format

We recommend pre-processed geotiff are in the below format:

- Your GeoTIFF must be properly geo-tagged.

- 4 GB GeoTIFF file size limit.

- 8 bit GeoTIFF file limit.
