You can upload documents to any project or folder in Birdi to help centralize all your data—whether you're keeping track of site checklists, reports, drawings, or other supporting files.

What You Can Upload

Birdi supports a wide range of document formats, including:

  • PDF (.pdf)

  • Microsoft Office files: Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx)

  • CSV (.csv)

  • Text files (.txt)

  • Other file types used for reports or metadata

Note: Document uploads are for reference and sharing only. They are not processed as map layers.

How to Upload

  1. Navigate to your map.

  2. Click the Upload button and select Upload documents.

  3. Drag and drop your files, or click to browse and select them.

  4. Click Upload to finish.

Use Cases

  • Upload a PDF of a drone flight log

  • Attach a CSV of field inspection notes

  • Add a Word doc with site access instructions

  • Include an Excel spreadsheet tracking maintenance history
