Birdi’s roles and permissions are designed to give your team the right level of access and flexibility. Whether you’re managing billing, collaborating on maps, or just reviewing outputs, our streamlined access levels make it simple to manage your organisation.

User Seats

Each organisation has a set number of user seats and guest seats available based on your plan. Only users with available seats can be assigned roles like Workspace Admin or Workspace User.

To add more seats, the Organisation Admin can go request this from their Birdi account manager or via the in platform chat.

How to Update a Team Member’s Role

To update a user’s role:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top navigation.

  2. Select Administration

  3. Select Users

  4. Find and select the team member you want to update.

  5. Select permissions

  6. Choose a new Role Type from the dropdown.

  7. This will auto Save your selection. This user will have the new permission across all workspaces they are associated with.

Tips

  • Workspace Admins need available seats to add users.

  • Guests do not use a seat. We have guest seat inclusions in all our plans.

  • Use view-only sharing for stakeholders who don’t need access to the full workspace.
