Accessing the Media thumbnail and viewing your individual images in Birdi 2.0

Opening the media thumbnail and viewer for drone images and 360s

  • To open the media thumbnail for individual images, you can select the image from the Layers panel. From here you can use your arrow keys to scroll through the images, or open full screen for individual images.

  • The selected image will turn blue for enhanced understanding of where the image is on the map.

  • Open the full screen view by clicking the expand icon from the thumbnail. From here, you can:

Full Screen Media View will also show the media metadata, including camera make and settings, file size, dimensions and other important information. An example of this is shown in the image below. If any of this information is missing, you may experience issues with image rendering or processing. Please get in touch if you require assistance with this.

360 Media View

  • Follow the same steps to open your 360 images in Birdi 2.0. The 360 viewer will open as below and you can use your mouse or the icon tools to move around your 360 image.
