How to access and use Table View for your 2D annotations

Details on how to open, search and and export annotation information from the table view.

The Table View in Birdi makes it easy to review and manage annotations for individual layers or groups of layers. It provides a structured, spreadsheet-style format that helps you quickly find, analyze, and export annotation data.

Accessing Table View

You can open the Table View for either a single layer or a group of layers:

Single Layer

  1. In the Layer Panel, select the layer you want to view.

  2. Click the Table Icon to open the Table View for that layer.

Group of Layers

  1. In the Layer Panel, select the Group Folder that contains the annotations.

  2. Click the Table Icon in the Toolbox to open the Table View for the entire group.


Features of the Table View

When opened, the Table View appears at the bottom of your screen and displays detailed information about all annotations within the selected layer or group.

Search and Filter

  • Use the Search Bar to quickly locate annotations by layer name or attribute value.

Export Data

  • Open the Three Dots Menu to export the table as a CSV file.

  • CSV files can be opened in Excel or other spreadsheet software for further analysis and reporting.
